Laughing Bear's Free Library Mailing List

This is a list of 188 libraries hand-picked for their likelihood to buy small press publications. They all have book purchasing budget of over $500,000, and many have literary or small press collections. There is a mix of university and major public libraries, so it is unlikely many of the addresses will change. I compiled the list from the Bowker American Library Directory.

The list is available in two versions. You can download it as a database in Microsoft Access format or as a comma-delimted text file.

Many thanks to Ken Hanson of Dixon-Price Publishing for updating the list as of February 1, 2000.
