two of my friends want to start a magazine for the modern christian woman in nigeria. one of us has had prior experience in a newspaper house but the other twohave had little or no experience in writing but show potential in the art. i will like some advice on the cost implications of his venture and other tips on starting a world class magazine. thanks a lot and look forward to your reply.

I am afraid I have no idea what the cost would be for publishing a magazine in Nigeria. I would think it would be very important for you to start networking with other international Christian magazines, particularly having to do with women, in order to get you magazine's name out in the public and to help you get a better idea of the market. Also, make sure you send press releases and ask advice of your church denomination's international council. To be a world class magazine you need to be involved in the world community as it applies to your subject.
