I would like to start a magazine focusing on movies that come out from africa. I would like to know how one can get advertising.

I would start by contacting the companies that produce these films. Then, if the movies are available on DVD, contact outlets that sell them (web sites, video stores, etc.) It may also be worth contacting theaters that play African films. Aside from those suggestions, if this is a magazine that will be distributed outside Africa, you may also find some advertisers by contacting web sites or stores that carry African clothing, mail order food, artwork, etc.
